Livermore CA Short Sale Education – HAFA Extended Through 2013!

We wanted to give you a quick information update regarding the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac HAFA short sale program expiration, which was originally set to expire a few days ago, has been extended through the end of 2013.
The HAFA program was a government subsidized program that came out several years ago. The purpose of it was to relieve deficiency, so people did not have to pay back the money was being forgiven. It allowed them to receive up to $3,000 or more back from the government after the close of the successful short sale. That program which originally was set to expire at the end of 2012 has been extended through the end of 2013.
