Danville, CA Short Sale Real Estate Market Update for September 2012

Hi, everybody, Scott Fuller with the East Bay Short Sale Group. We are your Danville, California, short sale specialists. We just got some housing statistics in from the Contra Costa Association of Realtors regarding housing activity for September, 2012. I wanted to share those with you. As of September, 2012, there were 49 active listings in Danville. There were 47 pending listings in Danville, and there was actually 45 listings that closed in September in Danville as well. Year-to-date for Danville, 463 closings. Obviously, that’s a lot of activity, so we’ve seen things go pretty quickly in Danville when they do come on the market. As far as average sales price, for year-to-date 2011, the average sales price was $867,000. For year-to-date 2012, the average sales price was $916,000, so that’s actually an increase of 5.3% in the average sales price in Danville.
